Another enjoyable place to eat is Java Java, a coffee shop at Freshfields near Seabrook Island. We enjoy the bagel breakfast sandwiches. It works really well; We order online and by the time we arrive our breakfast is on the to-go table. We pickup our breakfast sandwiches with no interaction with the staff and enjoy breakfast at the outdoor tables enjoying the food and the views.
Today’s photo shows the Freshfields Village green, a nice place to meet and visit with friends. Before the Pandemic, the green was a venue for musical performances and gatherings. We look forward to the gatherings again.
Hopefully, you have enjoyed a tour of the Freshfields Village. Tomorrow we go back to Seabrook Island.
To fill your gas tank stop by The Station in Freshfields Village near Seabrook Island. They also sell breakfast burritos. Given we drive an electric car our main interest are the burritos. And I like the old gas pumps.
We all have to purchase groceries and today’s photo shows The Village Market where groceries and deli are sold. Unfortunately they don’t offer curbside pickup so during the pandemic we shop at Publix in Charleston. Unfortunately that means a 50 mile drive twice a week. Fortunately we drive an eclectic car so the drive has a small carbon impact.
