blue roof

Today’s photo was taken because the blue roof caught my attention. The palm trees and foot bridge are a nice touch as well.

Homes on Seabrook range from villas, cottages, townhomes, single family homes, homes on the beach, on the marsh, and on beautifully streets lined with live oaks. Views range from lagoons, marsh, tennis courts, golf courses, and the beach.

jogger in orange

Today’s photo shows a jogger dressed in orange at the beach on Seabrook Island. Interestingly, as beautiful as Seabrook is, there are a limited number of colors. Most landscaping is natural so most scenes are green, blue, and sand. As a result touches of color catch my eye.

Connie and I stroll the beach each day for exercise and to enjoy nature. The sounds of the waves and the birds are very relaxing.

a touch of white

In today’s photo, a flock of birds show as a touch of white surrounded by green and blue. Trees and water are an ever present backdrop of most scenes. It looks like I will need a bigger lens or wading boots to get a close up.

Research indicates that these are herons but I have always thought of them as cranes. Following is a link to the wildlife on Seabrook Island.
